changing gears
when i sat down at the computer tonight i had the fullest intention of blogging about my very eventful day. as is my routine i checked for updates on a handful of other blogs before i began my own update. this is where things started going south. there's a particular blog that i stumbled upon a few weeks ago. i'm not sure what piqued my interest the first day but since then it's turned into a train wreck complete with my inability to "not" look. it's horrible. i see this thirty-something swimming full tilt towards a 400 ft waterfall. i'm at a loss. i want to scream (
) at this thirtysomething to thrust off the rose-colored glasses and see the river of shit that's consuming them. instead, as life has taught me many times that people wearing rose-colored glasses don't take kindly to nay sayers, i watch as this person conducts their locomotive, full steam ahead, straight into the side of the mountain i like to call reality.
tomorrow i promise i won't look at the train and i'll post about all the silly, happy, and fun things that happened today
and then i'll take a glance at the train.
